Recognizing Leadership

Join Kimia and Amber for Episode 5 of Facts in Mind featuring Dr. John Paul Rollert, Adjunct Associate Professor of Behavioral Science at Chicago Booth & Lecturer at Harvard Extension.

In this episode, we take a look at leadership, what it is, what it isn’t, the difference between leadership and management, how to recognize it when you see it, and how to become an effective leader yourself.

Dr. Rollert is a lecturer at two classes at Harvard Extension School on the topic of leadership. The summer class is a favorite and has been attended by countless students for over a decade. In January, co-taught with George Wendt, the leadership class focuses on politics, covering ancillary topics such as political science, power, ethics, and organizational structures. All this reveals that there is much more than meets the eye to leadership.
