About Our Team

Facts in Mind was founded by a group of Harvard Extension School students—Kimia Grigoriev, Amber Parrow, Laura Davidson, and Catherine Moya—who met while balancing work, family, and graduate studies. Brought together by a shared passion for inclusive education and making knowledge accessible, they launched the podcast to bring thoughtful, engaging conversations to a wider audience.

Each team member brings unique strengths in content, communication, research, and outreach. Together, they are actively growing Facts in Mind—with plans to expand into live events, educational offerings, and the formation of a nonprofit organization to further their mission of empowering learning for all.

Our Mission

Facts in Mind is an independent podcast and evolving educational platform dedicated to making knowledge accessible, inclusive, and meaningful. We engage curious minds through thoughtful conversations that translate complex ideas in science, psychology, education, technology, and culture into real-world relevance. By connecting academic insight with lived experience, we foster deeper understanding, critical thinking, and shared growth.

Founded by a team of Harvard Extension School graduates, Facts in Mind began as a podcast—but it is growing into something more. Our long-term vision is to become a nonprofit organization that supports public education, community engagement, and accessible learning across disciplines. Future plans include hosting live events and speaker series, offering workshops and educational media, building mentorship and internship opportunities, and creating scholarship programs for underserved learners.

As we expand, our goal is to bridge gaps between research and the public, amplify underrepresented voices, and cultivate a diverse learning community where curiosity leads to connection—and knowledge is truly for everyone.
