Laura Davidson

Laura Davidson earned her Bachelors of Science from Texas State University. After spending nearly four years working for the City of Los Angeles, in Council District Two, she pursued further education through University of California – Los Angeles Extension and later, Austin Community College. During that time, she revisited her love of writing and studied its various forms. She began her graduate studies in Creative Writing & Literature in the fall of 2019 at Harvard University Extension School. She earned her Master of Liberal Arts in 2023. Laura works for The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk within the College of Education at the University of Texas. She spent the last year working on a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences. Laura resides in Austin, Texas with her two Dachshunds as she actively volunteers with her collegiate sorority, Chi Omega and hopes to complete her first book.
